Why is dollar still a universal currency?
United States as of 2008-09 has:
- Ailing financial / auto industry; most others have only some high end office jobs left in this country
- Downward spiral or real estate and Consumer Market
- Not the biggest exporter of anything other than lethal weapons and some agricultural products
Oil Refining is no longer a mystery; there are many other countries with oil refinery capability? What is the real reason for anyone to hold dollars?
1) Because there is nothing to replace it
2) Because replacing it would take a lot of time and the US economy hasn’t been going down that long
3) Because many countries such as China and Japan use it as their de facto foreign currency and they aren’t in any position to give it up because giving it up would devalue their foreign currency reserves which in turn would harm their economies
4) Because there are so many forged dollars about, and people are so good at forging them, that half of the criminal underworld runs on the dollar standard
5) Because oil is traded in dollars
Auto Seat Covers Enhance The Driving Experience
I have owned many vehicles over the years and have found car seat covers to be a good accessory addition. Seat covers not only protect your investment but they
add fun to the drive.
There are so many reasons for automotive seat covers. Maybe you want to give your vehicle a new look, or protect the car seats from your pets, or maybe you have a messy job that during the day you need auto seat protection and at night you want that protection
removed. Maybe you want to keep the value of your vehicle investment up or think it is time to freshen up your interior with a custom car seat cover upgrade. The reasons are many and the good news is there is a car seat cover for everyone.
Let’s talk about seat cover possibilities. There are simple seat shields that are available for bench and bucket seats that are universal in size and design, held in place with an elastic band. If it is your pet you are concerned about there are several choices for seat protection. Consider pet custom seat covers or just a protective pet pad available in various sizes to accommodate the different bench seat sizes. Most pet pads even have slits for the seat belt.
There are many choices of universal seat covers. Add personality with your favorite team logo, or keep the seat covers plain. A universal seat cover is easy to apply but does not give the same fit as a custom car seat cover.
Perhaps you want to consider a semi custom or custom auto seat cover. If you just want a cover to protect the seats from the sand and water than go with a waterproof neoprene seat cover. Maybe you go on long trips and are looking for a seat cover that has better breathing and cushioning. Or perhaps your preference is a custom seat cover that is machine washable. These seat covers are available and in many cases are specific to your vehicle.
In the custom and semi custom seat cover area there are many fabrics and colors to choose. Select: tweeds, velours, microseudes, camouflage, leatherettes, and genuine sheepskin. The choices abound.
Most universal seat covers are readily available. However you will need to allow two to three weeks for a custom or semi custom seat cover, since most of these are made to order. Auto seat covers will enhance your driving experience and in most cases will protect the value of your vehicle investment. With unlimited seat cover choices you can’t help but have a great seat.
