Can the Blackberry Curve 8330 usb cable for tethering be used for syncing and charging as well?
Just purchased a Curve 8330 and it came with a “usb cable for tethering”. I purchased a different usb cable that said it was for “syncing and charging”. The cables look exactly the same. Do they so the same thing? Can I return the “syncing and charging” cable?
You have duplicate cables. “Tethering” means connecting the Curve to the computer in some way; “synching” is just a more specific type of tethering (you can also tether Blackberry handsets as modems). I’d definitely return the one that you bought seperately.
